It may sound abstract, but without understanding what the concrete and graspable value of modeling, you will always struggle in argumentation, why your company should invest time and budget in modeling.

I strongly believe - it's about evolution and adapting to the very fast changing environment. Metadata Knowledge management - this is exactly the topic of introduction of new "words" and "terms" building own domain specific language. Organizations that doing this are building their strategic advantage.

Modelling can be used to maintain, build and develop a repository of reusable elements to grow common knowledge.

The model can also be used to communicate the commercial stakeholder needs of the business to the modelling and design teams.
